My Scrapbook Corner

Here are some pages I created at the Scrapbooking Retreat I attended last weekend! Three (3) of the pages are for my friend at the office (her son is getting married in November…the attendants have asked guests going to the Bridal Shower to scrapbook at least 2 pages and they will put a scrapbook together for the Bride later. The fourth page is one I started, too, last weekend. A page (tank convoy) for the second Military album I’m working on for my nephew…he was in the Army six years and served about 15 months in Baghdad, Iraq.
The third page, which is the one with both Bride & Groom’s names on the paper…I purchased at the local Scrapbooking retail store. How cool is that?! What inspired me as I laid out my pages… was their love story…graduated “high school sweethearts”…both graduated college (surviving that, I suppose would take a toll as they didn’t attend the same college)…got engaged, purchased a house and set their wedding date! I hope my pages illustrate a “celebration” of their love story!
I’m really hooked on this scrapbooking hobby and hope some day all my scrapbooks reflect my passion for picture taking and the magical memories I’ve captured in a photograph!
“Cling to the pictures and memories as if they were gold.”
Best,
Reenie

It was nice to read about your scrapbooking – I’m starting to develop an interest. The lady who did my blog design used “digital” scrapbooking. It’s such a great way to showcase pictures!
